Abstract :
The currents induced by a magnetic pulse have been studied by means of a simulated computer model. The study used data derived from computerized tomography of the head, which was discretized into small cells. Dielectric characteristics and conductivities were assigned to each cell on the basis of the type of tissue it contained. The distribution of the eddy currents and their intensity were studied as a function of the intensity of the magnetic pulse and the coil orientation
