Abstract
Physical laws are reviewed which must be considered in explaining biological effects of low-frequency electric and magnetic fields. Laboratory experiments showing effects of low-intensity fields are summarized, as are epidemiological studies which seem to indicate a possible association between field exposure and adverse health effects.
