Abstract :
Researches on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in textile and garment industry are seldom studied in literature. Considering the specific characteristics in China, the textile M&As are important and challenging. Target enterprise selection is a key procedure in the process of M&A. A Pareto-based process model is studied to incorporate the Chinese industry environment and industrial features. The simulation case study shows a route to reduce the selection complexity by Pareto-based suppression of inferior targets.
