Abstract :
In this paper, we introduce a low-cost four-channel variable gain amplifier module with three chips assembled in a 7 mm times 7 mm times 1.5 mm land grid array package. With 5 V voltage supply, total quiescent current is 300 mA. Each channel has 9 dB gain, 3.5 dB noise figure, 17.5 dBm input third-order intercept point and no less than 24 dB isolation from the other channels. This module can be used for 900 MHz GSM base station receiver.
