    █ RTCA Special Committee (SC) 206 is developing standards for Aeronautical Information Services (AIS) and Meteorological (MET) Data Link Services including: — Concepts of Use (ConUse) — Architecture Recommendations █ Analysis process was developed by SC-206 to evaluate potential delivery methods for AIS/MET data link services █ Model and quantitative analysis provided inputs for the analysis process — Developed generic Satellite Communications (SATCOM) model for AIS/MET Contract Mode transmissions — Analyzed data link performance through simulations for a specific AIS/MET use case █ MET and AIS updates are transmitted to En Route aircraft for improved pilot situational awareness — Obtained performance metrics identified in the analysis process █ 95th percentile latency, throughput, utilization
