Abstract
In this paper a Microstrip slot antenna fed by a fractaly terminated line is proposed. The return loss, input impedance, and radiation pattern of such a structure were studied and the effect of the fractal iterations were compared to the traditional simple line fed microstrip slot antenna. It would be shown that the bandwidth of such a structure is more than 80% which is evidently more than triple times greater than non fractal geometries and it covers the entire S-band.
