Management of a secure WWW-based document store

This paper describes the design of a manageable WWW based secure multimedia document store. This store consist of two main components, one offering the core service functionality and the other providing the management. Only the seamless integration of these components in conjunction with the store´s security features into a comprehensive multimedia teleservice will offer the opportunity to use it in the currently evolving pan-European “Open Service Market”. The design approach discussed in this document is based on ODP concepts, covering an enterprise model, an computational model and a technology model.
