Abstract
One benefit of the evolving intelligent network (IN) is that the customer can quickly and easily change how services operate to satisfy their individual needs. The authors focus on modification of individual telecommunications services and features offered in IN Release 0.0. Topics addressed include the IN architecture, service creation and modification, terminal- and dual-tone multifrequency (DTMF)-based interactions, and future directions in customer access to IN services
