Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a method to design a kind of dual-frequency circular-polarization patch antenna composed with two patch antenna elements and feeding network and provide detailed design formulas. It is convenient and rapid to obtain the antenna´s geometric parameters on the premise of providing enough precision. The antenna designed with this method is directly fed by microwave transmission line, and needs no drilling in printed circuit board , so it´s easy to make and suitable for normal application. Then we show an example - an antenna working at 1.9 GHz and 2.4 GHz in the manner of circular-polarization. According to the simulation results obtained by Agilent ADS software, the return loss, axial ratio and radiation pattern all meet the design requirements.
