Abstract :
In this paper we describe a two-part course sequence on electric vehicle technology. This course was developed and offered in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at Portland State University. The focus of the course was on the electric vehicle as an embedded computing application. This orientation is different from many courses at other universities that cover electric vehicle technology.
