Abstract :
This paper proposes a modified calculation for flexible distributed generation (FDG) based on Shunt Active Filter (SAF). Active filters have been considered as an effective solution to overcome the power quality problem of distribution networks. A new vector based formulation is used to calculate current reference for active and reactive power injection. In addition, the most recent calculation methods are investigated at unsymmetrical voltage conditions. The proposed SAF is used for active and reactive power injection under voltage distortions and 4-wire power system.
