Abstract :
In this paper, the self-adaptive mesh generating method is proposed to apply to the time domain microwave imaging of PEC object. In time domain imaging, according to the pre-estimated size of the object and the upper limit of the frequency of the incident wave, the mesh of the time domain algorithm could be automatically generated; by analyzing the correlation between the mesh and the upper limit of the frequency, the size of the mesh can be adjusted to satisfy the requirement of the speed or of the high precision. Two examples are present to clarify the flexibility of the self-adaptive mesh.
