Abstract :
Exploiting the channel correlation at transmitter, a preceded differential space-time modulation transmission scheme with loaded eigen-beamforming is present for spatially correlated time-varying fading channels. Through eigenvalue decomposition, we get the transmit eigen-beamforming matrix. Based on the analysis of the upper bound of pairwise error probability and effective signal to noise of the system, an optimal power loading scheme is derived which is dependent on total transmitted power, noise covariance, channel correlation and time-varying fading parameter. Simulation results show that that the proposed preceded DSTM scheme is obviously better than traditional DSTM without preceding and the preceded scheme in for spatially correlated fast time-varying fading channels.
