Abstract
In order to ensure each node´s energy consumption balance in the whole network, a novel algorithm is proposed which is based on AODV protocol. The proposed algorithm is that a parameter is added at first for each node, in order to judge the remaining energy state of the node. When some node has less residual energy, its previous nodes on the primary route needs to discover a bypass to bypass this energy insufficient node, and distribute the load of the network to primary route and bypass at the same time. This method can achieve prolonging the lifetime of the entire network. The simulation results show that P_AODV protocol is obviously superior to AODV protocol on prolonging the lifetime of the entire network.
