Abstract
A novel fully complementary BiCMOS transistor array dedicated to high-performance digital or mixed analog/digital circuits is presented. Array architecture, design methodology, and circuit topologies that take full advantage of the new array features are discussed. Characteristics of analog and digital circuits integrated on the array are presented and compared to those of their full-custom counterpart. It is shown that the speed of digital circuits is comparable to that of the full-custom ones, while for analog circuits the dynamic performance is degraded by a factor of about 20%
