Abstract :
In this paper, some evaluation methods for regenerative feed heating system of power plant are presented such as exergy loss, exergy efficiency, exergy loss rate and fuel specific consumption accrual. These methods are all based on the second law of thermodynamics. Exergy efficiency effect the thermodynamic perfect degree of the heater. Exergy loss and exergy loss rate provide the exergy loss distribution of the regenerative feed heating system of power plant. Fuel specific consumption accrual of every heater can be calculated according to the Consumption Rate Analysis Theory. The irreversibilities in the different heaters are evaluated and discussed. The result shows that the method of the specific consumption accrual of heater can evaluate the effect of any heater on the whole regenerative system.
