Abstract
We demonstrate a harmonically mode-locked laser employing a 151 cm-long bismuth-oxide-based highly nonlinear erbium-doped fiber. The cavity is as short as 8 m. Stable 10 GHz short pulses are obtained with an 87 nm tuning range covering the CL-band.
