Abstract
This study, presents a novel single phase rectifier design, with reduction, in the amount of output voltage ripple. This design consists of input AC source, with frequency multiplier circuits and front end diode rectifier, which utilizes a novel idea, based on the use of higher voltage harmonics, in order to increase the performance of rectifying, in terms of decreasing the output voltage ripple. Simulations have been performed and the results approve the effectiveness of the techniques presented in this study.
