            Abstract : 
In this paper a new quasi resonant three phase soft switching inverter is proposed. The auxiliary circuit of the proposed inverter is composed of two auxiliary switches. All switches in the introduced quasi resonant inverter are soft switched. The auxiliary circuit provides zero voltage switching condition for the inverter main switches. The introduced inverter is compatible with PWM and SVM control strategies. Analysis of this inverter topology is done and various operating modes are explained in details. The inverter simulation is accomplished to validate the theoretical analysis.
