Abstract :
Since Korean government announced its comprehensive driving strategy for new growth engine in 2009, the Korean government has been supporting the investment promotion act for new growth engine in many ways. Over the five years spanning 2009 to 2013, the government will make a massive investment of KRW 24 trillion in fostering 17 new growth engine industries. This move calls for efforts to boost the government´s investment efficiency towards fostering and activating new growth engine industries.
