Abstract
Monitoring & Control software plays a vital role in operation of any satellite ground station. In this paper the development of monitoring and control software to verify a test bed ground station has been discussed. The system architecture and development has been explained in detail and then the standard software metrics (i.e. Requirements Modeling Metrics, Design Metrics, and System Size & Depth metrics) which are generally used for the quantification of the software have been elaborated. After development of software, it has been analyzed and verified on the basis of these software metrics. The analysis reveals that the overall complexity of the developed software is structural in nature.
