Abstract :
Statistical investigations show that 3-dB optical bandwidths of multimode fibres are sufficiently accurate for estimating the transmission performance of IMDD adaptively modulated optical OFDM signals, with <6% (<17%) relative standard deviations in loss- (modal-dispersion)- dominant regions.
