Abstract :
The on-line monitoring system for power equipment gradually becomes practical in China. However, the 8-bits single-chip computer system and personal computer are still used as the main frame of them. There are lots of limitations, such as low security, low anti-interference, and inconveniently programmable. As a new technology, the 32-bits embedded system maybe instead of them with its advantages. In this paper, a new 32-bits embedded based on-line monitoring system for power equipment is presented. The system architecture, functions and the hardware constructions are illuminated. They are all validated in the PD on-line monitoring system of large generators.
