Abstract
Summary form only given. Recently, many researchers have studied control of radiative field by using microstructures, e.g. microcavity laser. The influence of microstructures fabricated on a surface upon thermal emission spectrum, however, has not been well understood. In this paper, we report, for the first time to our knowledge, experimental results of thermal emission from a two-dimensional (2D) periodic microstructure.
