Abstract :
The allocation of spectrum by the FCC has provided impetus to the implementation of PCS in the United States. The trial activity by over 200 companies has produced novel approaches in implementing the service. The trials involve participation by a wide range of players, including LECs, cellular operators, cable operators, paging companies and equipment vendors
