Abstract
Power-Added Efficiency (PAE) is an important performance parameter for power amplifiers. By definition, the incident power should be known exactly to compute the PAE. But due to the return loss of DUT, traditional methods can´t set the incident power accuracy directly with the VNA. This paper presents a method to set absolute incident power accurately at the DUT with the VNA´s receiver levelling techniques.
