Abstract :
We experimentally demonstrate a novel method to further improve the tolerance of 42.7-Gb/s partial-DPSK to tight optical filtering by applying an optimized power imbalance, allowing the signal to pass 20 times 50-GHz filters with < 1 dB penalty.
