  • Abstract
    This historical overview examines the block diagrams of several millimeter-wave network analyzers. Included are extenders to manual HP 8410 systems, early six-port systems, and several modifications to HP 8542 and 8409 automatic systems. A proposed block diagram for 26.5 - 40 GHz, 33 - 50 GHz, and 40 - 60 GHz operation with a controller-based HP 8510 analyzer is included.
