Abstract :
With the accelerated construction pace of the international traveling island, Hainan province will have another golden period of development and opportunity for its socio-economic since the establishment of Hainan. However, the protection of environmental resources is an important guarantee for building a sustainable development international traveling island. Currently, there are a variety of potential environment risks in Hainan and the oil spills risk is the most important one. This article summarizes the main potential risks for oil spills in Hainan. Based on these potential risks, we use some methods to analyze them. At last, some reasonable suggestions will be put out in order to help the government of Hainan to make decisions and develop contingency plans about oil spills at sea.
