  • Abstract
    The creativity capacity of R&D team depends largely on the amount of shared information among the members and the efficiency of information exchange. In recent years, the gradual rise of team sharing mental model has been of significantly theoretical value in the explanation of R&D team´s dealing with difficult and changing creation task through implicit collaboration. By analyzing the structural features of team sharing mental model, this article puts forward the necessity of utilizing team sharing mental model as a means of motivation. Based on exiting studies, the results indicated that: It is more appropriate to describe the team sharing mental model of Chinese R&D team with two-dimension model. The study summarizes the principles and rules of two-dimension model and establishes some measures in order to construct positive team sharing mental model. Moreover, this article also provides a comprehensive motivation mechanism based on team sharing mental model of R&D team creativity, and the proposal to establish commitment-focused incentives.
