  • Abstract
Thermal co-simulation of a two-stage depressed collector of a TWT has been carried out using CST Particle Studio. Distribution of thermal load as computed from the particle loss has been directly linked with the thermal solver of the CST Studio. Thermal co-simulation of the collector provided some physical insights into the generation of hot-spots and overall thermal behavior of the collector for operations both with and without RF. Effects of the secondary electron emission have also been included in the simulation.
