Abstract :
This paper considers the localization of a rocket projectile´s landing point in an explosive testing zone using a wireless sensor network. Grid anchor nodes with seismic sensors are arranged in the target area. An algorithm is proposed for the positioning of the grid anchor nodes and for hyperbolic localization. Additionally, a node health report is included in the algorithm for the node destroyed by the rocket projectile. This paper includes simulation results for the hyperbolic localization algorithm and the choice of grid anchor nodes.
