Abstract :
Food safety has become one of the world´s most concerns. Foodborne diseases have become an important factor affecting public health. Biological and chemical substances pollution impact food safety more severely. The doubt of genetically modified (GM) foods safety did not eliminate. The China´s food export has the problems, i.e. out of limits of pesticide residue, inconformity with regulations, out of limits of veterinary drug etc. This results from source pollution in agricultural production, food industry with low skills, lack of technological innovation, defect of food safety regulatory system, and lag of measurement technique etc. Therefore, a standardized and effective management procedure and food safety legal system needs establishing. Also the food safety standard compatible with international standards needs improving. Investment in agriculture production needs increased, and the quality of the producer and the producer´s consuming awareness need improving.
