Abstract :
Application of ESR (electron spin resonance) and ENDOR (electron nuclear double resonance) spectroscopies for the characterization of molecular electronic materials is discussed. The methods provide microscopic information about materials containing unpaired electrons. Typical examples shown here are the ESR characterization of the structure and electronic states of dye Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films and conducting LB films and the ENDOR determination of the soliton wave function in polyacetylene
