Abstract :
To reduce casualties caused by the underground coal mining accidents, the experiment studies the basic conditions for human survivor in movable refuge chamber through the simulated enclosed underground environment. By conducting this experiment and testing subjects under the different physical circumstance in enclosed environment, we have learned the relationship between heart rate and breathing rate, and conclude that each adult man consumes 934.20mL of O2 and breathes out 934.20mL of CO2. Therefore, we can confirm the different carrying capacity (the amount of O2 and the amount soda lime to absorb CO2) can be used in the refuge chamber. The experiment results can be also provide reference for the arrangement of ventilators study.
