Abstract :
Local area community broadcast provides various kinds of information for behaving persons and residents in the district. According to an experience of 70MHz band community broadcast at Hakodate City in Hokkaido, transmission power is about 0.5W and its servicing area is more than 5 km of radius. The first author has developed computer software and a simple operating method for weather forecast by using a set of local weather conditions observed at hourly intervals. The solar battery makes he energy self support systems possible at secluded places among the mountains, national parks and solitary islands that required no power plants, no wire and poles, no exhausts and clean natural environments
