Abstract
Surveillance systems are in constant development and its dependence of humans although dwindling, it is still significant. On the other hand a constant evolution and adaptation of robots to perform tasks traditionally performed by humans it is also been witnessed. Using the advantage of these fields an architecture and a protocol to facilitate the integration of an autonomous robot as active agent in a surveillance system is proposed. The proposed work merge developments made in two research projects, DVA and ServRobot.
