Abstract :
In the work, a suboptimal controller is proposed for an electro-hydraulic system. The controller design bases on a recent genetic algorithm. The genetic algorithm can select the weighting matrices with respect to the suboptimal control scheme. In addition, in order to improve robust performance of the electro-hydraulic system, parameter uncertainties are considered in the process of genetic search. Simulation results show that stability and robust performance are both desirable, which demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed method.
