  • Abstract
    In order to achieve the temperature distribution of cathode in vacuum electronic device, which is necessary to analyze the mechanism of thermo-electronic emission, software Comsol is used to build different physical models for certain structures of cathode in TWT and Thyratron. Results of these temperature simulations are in good agreement with those of actual test. Therefore, the method by numerical simulation to analyze the temperature distribution of cathode in vacuum device, which is used in this paper, is accurate and effective.
