Abstract :
A wide band, multi-frequency data electrical impedance tomograph was constructed for the simultaneous measurement of both the real and imaginary components of a tissue´s impedance in the range 32 kHz to 2.048 MHz. The use of independent groups of electrodes for current injection and voltage measurements and floating voltmeter enable the minimization of the measurement errors, which usually increase with the applied signal frequency. This device enables the full determination of impedance loci in body tissues´ β-dispersion frequency range
