Abstract :
This paper presents the design and implementation of a microprocessor controlled portable digital communication system with speech synthesis for the hearing, mute, and seeing impaired. The system is integrated with a time division multiple access using short bursts and consists of a keyboard with braille, speakers, and liquid crystal display suitable for digital signal processing and VLSI implementation
