Abstract
Capsule endoscopes are widely used in the diagnosis of gastro intestinal tract disorder. Current devices do not comprise an effective method for marking and tagging the area of interests. This leads to our novel development concept known as the tagging module. In this paper, we present the development of a radiopaque micro tag for labeling the tissue of interest. Various titanium structures had been fabricated to evaluate its radiopacity and the ease of detecting the structures under x-ray imaging. Preliminary tests and in vivo had been performed and result will be presented in this paper.
