Abstract
This paper presents an analog phase detector, designed and applied as a reference instrument for automatic timing calibration. The circuit rapidly converts input signal times into easily measured voltages, with inherently good linearity and jitter rejection. It is easy to design and use, inexpensive, and offers some advantages over traditional measurement methods
