  • Abstract
We describe a new model for building up patient education Web sites based on the criterion that effective, assessed patient learning is the only legitimate criterion for success. The natural result is a multilevel-of-difficulty, individualized learning experience for the user. Although eventually an expert system based tutorial system, the initial program uses an intense educator-patient-programmer relationship to iteratively build an effective learning site.
