Abstract :
Multicasting of broadband optical messages is experimentally demonstrated in a programmable optical switching test-bed. Wavelength-striped optical packets with 8 times 10 Gb/s payloads are multicasted error-free through the fabric, with confirmed scalability to 40 Gb/s data rates.
