  • Abstract
This paper looks at the operation of the three multicast routing algorithms being studied for use in an inter-domain routing environment. The three algorithms are Scalable Reverse Path Multicasting, Core Based Trees, and Protocol Independent Multicasting-Sparse Mode. These three algorithms are evaluated with respect to a list of criteria to determine how well they scale to the large sizes of inter-domain computer networks
