Abstract
Polyethylene terephthalate (PETP) containing ferrocene units in the main chain is expected to give a polymer with new electrical properties. It is well known that ferrocene units incorporated into a polymer backbone can enhance its weatherability and stabilize the polymer against the degrading effects of light. Some ferrocene compounds are known to be UV light absorbers. It is not known how the modification of PETP affects the charge storage in polymeric samples. The purpose of this work is the study of the electret properties of PETP containing ferrocene units
