Enterprise competitive advantages optimization through logistics activities simulation of supply chain

Effective supply chain management (SCM) has become a vital way of enhancing competitive advantage and improving enterprise performance. One of the most optimization methodologies of supply chain is simulation. Simulation is an effective tool that offer life-like scenarios and develop valuable functional business knowledge and decision-making skills. This paper aims to introduce the supply chain simulation concept and its benefits to the enterprise. The paper also demonstrates the distinct properties of supply chain simulation. In this paper, we apply, develop, and test simulation modeling techniques to represent that how simulation techniques effectively optimize the supply chain management. Challenges of the supply chain simulation are discussed.
