Abstract
Based upon threshold detectability of low-contrast cylinders, the authors estimate X-ray dose savings for pulsed fluoroscopy at 15 acq/sec as compared to 30 acq/sec. The authors use an adaptive four-alternative forced-choice experiment, they find dose savings from 7-50%. Savings depend upon cylinder size and velocity
