  • Abstract
We discuss a quasi-synchronous discrete multi-tone CDMA (DMT-CDMA) system based on block spreading, with a block size equal to the DMT symbol size, in the presence of frequency-selective fading. For such a system, we develop a simple receiver that completely removes the multi-user interference (MUI) and (single-user) inter-tone interference (ITI), when a special set of code sequences is used. As a result the BER does not saturate as the noise decreases, in contrast to a related existing receiver for a standard DMT-CDMA system in the presence of frequency-selective fading.
